Guys thanks again for all the help from this forum. At last my application got approved and they dispatched the passport. Once again Thanks a lottt..


My timeline:

Applied online on March 15th

Did upfront medicals

passport requested on May 19th

Passport sent to Visa office through VFS Bangalore on 26th

Passport dispatched from visa office on June 5th.

Hopefully will get the passport back by this Monday.

Sorry , ITs not June 5th, I meant June 1st. I don't know what I was thinking.

Hi i m going to apply for my wife. I am on pgwp with noc b job. Just want to know how much fund do i have to show in canda along with statement. Is it compulsory to provide 6 month statement instead of current bank balance statement with bank stamp. And is it mandatory to wwite noc code on employment letter.

My husband is in Canada just received his BOWP.im in India ,my SOWP rejected feb 23,2017 .it states one reason that my husband has arrest warrant but that was a mistake .so next day we sent police clearance certificate to Delhi immigration but there is no response from them.we have asked to reopen.
We have sent so many mails no response.during that time my husband has not enough work permit.
But yesterday he got his BOWP and it is valid till June 2018
When I checked my refused application online.
"Review of eligibility-we regret to inform you that you are not eligible"
Final Decision-your applicantion is in progress

It has mentioned like this and I also checked the corresponding letter but it's fully blank

My question is
Is it error or do they reopen my application?
Else do I need to go for new application?
Please suggest

Hi,

Bank statement - minimum 4 months and show like 6-8K CAD. But the most important part is your payslip.
The letter of employment MUST have the NOC code mentioned on it. Request your employer to have the NOC code number 2*** depending the kind of job you have. I'd strongly recommend you giving a letter of invite mentioning you'd take care of food, accommodation and insurance until your wife gets her own provincial card. I'd also recommend going for upfront medicals.

We also got the work permit correspondence letter sent to the online account as soon as the visa was stamped.

• We have a single cover letter mentioning both the cases, will that be a problem?

We cannot predict.it depends upon cic....
Few of them got approved together.stay positive....
I applied online on June 20th..

dear all star members...i have been applied 5th tym my sowp online on 1 june 2017,already got 4 tym denied,with some unusual reason,any how luckily i have got an interview on 22 june at delhi cic chankyapuri,with the grace of god i have been cleared this interview,and till eveing i got medical examination confirmation,i also done medical on 27th june,now i am waiting for passport request,how long it will take? how many chances of visa approving? is any chances of refusal after interview and medical?my wife live in calgary and working on B LEVEL job,even she have been got AINP and we fedarally filed in 13 january,i am bit confused and wandering with some doubts...please suggest me advice me...!!!

Please somebody help me with my confusion.My husband is in closed work permit and went to canada just 2 months before.He has vaild work permit for 1 year.I want to apply for SOWP and i am confused with proof of funds he needs to provide.As its been only two months we will not be able to show bank balance.Is it possible to apply for SOWP NOW??

Dear Friends,
I have received study permit and I am traveling to Canada in December. My wife is planning to apply for Open work permit and jon me in Canada. We are planning to submit online application. While trying to file application online, she got request to submit below documents:

1. IMM1295 - Application for work permit made outside Canada
2. IMM5707 - Family Information form
3. Passport
4. Digital Photo
5. Request for medical exam
6. Proof of relationship
7. IMM5257 - Application for temp resident visa
8. Latter of explanation

None of the documents in the checklist ask about my study permit/VISA details or sponsorship letter. Also none of the documents talk about availability of funds, proof of employment or any other documents to verify links to home country.

Is this the case with others filing online as well? Or Did she miss or answer any questions wrong that lead to different supporting document requirement.
