Passport renewal post submission of PR application

Hi Guys,

After submitting my PR application (post ITA) i am planning to get my passport renewed (as it expires in December 2017) and then update my application with the information of the new passport. What are the possible pitfalls that any of you could see in this plan?

Also, would i need to get my police verification done again?

Would highly appreciate any suggestions.

Just raise a CSE providing details of your new passport and you ll be fine. May folks do it.

But i ll say renew your passport sooner than later and raise CSE.

My ita expires in July 2017 and passport expires in July 2018. I am planning to file my application and then get passport renewed. Has anyone heard of any issues if we update cic that passport is renewed. Does all this impact the application.

No problem. After renewing your passport inform CIC by raising a CSE
