Getting new SIN# right after landing at the border

Can i get my new SIN at Service Canada office right after landing at the border (Rainbow Bridge)? Or, do I have to wait a week or two before going to Service Canada to get a new SIN.
Anyone experienced the same? Thank you in advance for your inputs.

I think you can get it next day of landing. I landed on Monday and went to service Canada on Friday (after 4 days). Had no issues with SIN.

you can go strait away to Service Canada office after landing for the new SIN but sometimes they may tell you to come next day for the new SIN though.
