June 2017 Citizenship Applicants - (pre C6 rule)

Hello everyone,

I have submitted my application in June as well. Can anyone let me know on an average how long does it take from start to finish for applications from Toronto....Markham actually I hear different stories from my friends....some say they got their citizenship in 3-4 months, some say 8-9 months...i hear there are delays right now for the oath ceremonies!

Next week #C6 will be discussed in the Senate and it will become law by the end of JUne #senCA

So unfair with us we had to wait an extra
Year to file for citizenship and now all of a sudden everyone will be sending their applications and timeline will change all of a sudden too.

I'm a June applicant too; due on 20th and intend to sent the package on 26th.... 6 extra days.

I hope C-6 doesn't kick in before the Fall although I eagerly awaited this C-6 before I complete my 4 years!!!

We are on the same boat, was waiting C-6 since more than a year. Now I hope to be delayed a little bit.

I have sent my application before 1 hour.... 2 extra days, I've never left Canada since my landing
