Immigrating to Canada

Hello,
My name is Femi. I have a question that has been bothering my mind and I'll be so glad if you can help me out with a great answer. Here is the thing, I have overstayed my visit visa in the USA and now I want to apply for the Express Entry to Canada. As a matter of fact, I have done the eligibility test and scored 446 which is a good point I think. I want to know if there is going to be any problem of being granted entry visa into Canada?

Think you would go back to your home country and apply for this. Would be the best bet in my humble opinion.

Thank you Adrlim for your quick response. Yes I know I will have to go back to my home country. I meant the Canadian embassy in my home country is going to see that I overstayed in USA. I am not sure if the consulate of the Canadian embassy in my home country will overlook the fact that I overstayed in USA. That is exactly what I want to know.

Sorry not so sure about that because we need to declare all our travel history plus provide Police Certificates for all countries we have stayed for more than 6 months. So my guess is they will know?

Its pretty a dicey situation. Before you make the move, please talk to an immigration lawyer. They will know and I do not know if the FBI will record it on your PCC. Just find out and be sure to go

I doubt it. Unless you received a deportation order in the US, Homeland Security and CBP have no way of knowing when you left. I would recommend that you leave ASAP.

I think it's as simple as just checking the date of entry back to home country by the home country immigration stamp. It is cleared stated on the passport, date of departure and date of entry. By that, it
