I'm sorry.. a bit confused here.Can't. They have to send you a IMM 1017 that has a valid IME# for them to be able to use it.
Does it mean that my upfront medical cannot be traced and I need to do them again?

no, but you no longer can do upfront, you need an IMM 1017 to pass the medical exam.I'm sorry.. a bit confused here.

Used to be able to do them "upfront" (without them asking). They blocked that recently. People had been doing medicals, and they were not ready for them. They would frequently expire while waiting.I'm sorry.. a bit confused here.

Thank you Sylvain1.no, but you no longer can do upfront, you need an IMM 1017 to pass the medical exam.
If he were smart he would invoke but he is such a megalomaniac and a narcissist that he thinks he can get away with anything so I am hoping he does not.It wouldn't offend me. But it would likely offend others.... unfortunately, biology has created this paradox for us, 'enlightened' humans...
I will be watching to see what Jeff does. He was smart to take on the "Open" session. But Feinstein has already complained that it needs to be infront of the Judiciary committee, not intel. A judge issued a demand for the paperwork that Sessions submitted for his clearance to work at the DOJ, as well, comms from the WH to FBI WRT Priebus calling them... can't remember the specific subject matter around that, but the noose is tightening.
Yet, #45 states he was "Totally Vindicated". Why fire Mueller? Why does Sessions need to hide anything (I bet he invokes Executive Privilege)?
#SoMuchWinningIAmSickOfWinning.
Darn google.I think the context was a "Thanks", but not sure the dialect. In Ruskie it's: spasibo
Thank Profiler!Used to be able to do them "upfront" (without them asking). They blocked that recently. People had been doing medicals, and they were not ready for them. They would frequently expire while waiting.
Now the clinics require you to have a valid "IME" (which is a number that CIC gives you on the IMM 1017 Medical request form) that will identify their specific request to complete the medical. Without it, the physicians can only submit "work permit" medicals for you.
So, CIC needs to request the medical, and give you an IMM 1017 (comes through myCIC if you are using it). It will have an IME# on it. Print and bring to the physician.
I seriously want to buy it!I am still mulling over a systems design that can assist in preparing paperwork. I don't want to have too much in the way of continuous "service" (in that, I don't want to be updating PDF layouts everytime CIC sneezes and decides it needs a new form layout). I suppose it wouldn't be too bad to do them later in the evening, but if there is sufficient demand, I may be convinced to just do it.
I despise "representatives" who think their role ends at the point that paperwork was sent. Imagine.... $3000 just to complete the paperwork, that the people themselves have to supply the information for anyway.... I get that time is money, but seriously....
If I let people use an app (web app?) for filling out paperwork, even if it cost them $300 or $30, I bet there would be some market for it. HRMMMMM
I would hope that you get landed by then.Just spoke with CIC (was finally able to speak with an agent after making over 2 dozens of attempts).
The agent confirmed that although he was able to see my upfront medicals in the system and that the medicals were valid until 3 August 2017.
However, he said that medicals were not yet linked to my PR application. He said that medical report sent through CSE may take sometime to get updated.
He also suggested that I retake the medicals since they would expire soon. Im an 29 April'16 applicant, wondering if I should retake the medicals at this stage.
How did you all determine when your medicals expire?I would hope that you get landed by then.
Mine expire 26 July 2017.
Good to know.I would! You've waited long enough. Also a trick I've learnt is, call through the citizenship line. You avoid having to press numbers as they transfer you right away. You still have to wait but approximately on average 15 mins AND you never get the "all agents are busy" crap
He is no John Adams...If he were smart he would invoke but he is such a megalomaniac and a narcissist that he thinks he can get away with anything so I am hoping he does not.
Remember when he was campaigning and he said he could shoot someone and get away with it.
I wonder if they will burn the communication.
In my GCMS notes. Medicals are valid for 1 year. IRCC has the discretion to extend. How did you all determine when your medicals expire?
Though it was interesting to watch my mother and my mother-in-law use Google Translate, live on a cell phone to communicate. It worked remarkably well actually.Darn google.
Just lay off the baconThank Profiler!
I just read the CIC website that w.e.f Dec 2016, they no longer honour upfront medicals.
I had done my medical in July'16. Now that I have received an IME #, I think I'll have to take them again.
