Hi,

In hopes someone had something similar.

I have been eniligible as a sponsor based on 2010 income. CIC sent letter March 7, 2017 with the decision.
Since I had checked "proceed with application anyway" the documents have been sent to Warsaw for further coordination.
On June 6 my parents have been asked by Warsaw VO to provide police certificates, pay their RPRF and do medical examination.

It probably doesn't mean much since they would still have to look if I am eligible as a sponsor and, if here is even a chance, re-consider me since CIC already made a decision on my eniligibikity.

Should I keep my hopes up?

Hard to say. Sometimes a decision like this can be at the officer's discretion. You may comply with the VO's request and see what happens from there.. I mean, it's a risk you may want to take or not. It's up to you.

Thank you! So there have been cases when they re-considered?

When did u apply the case?
Your 2010 income was for last three taxation years income towards your application date ,
or the one which ircc want to maintain throughout the processing time?

If the decision has been made that you're ineligible to sponsor, the application is going to be refused. There's no officer discretion. You either meet the income requirement or you don't.

Applied in 2013. They received documents first days of January 2014. They asked for 3 taxation years of income for 2010, 2011, 2012

No one will look at case specific information I sent after the decisions has been made? CIC advised that it will be considered

Are they going to bother with medical, PCC, and RPRF if no reconsideration has been made? I mean, what's the point, right? I'm not saying this one's completely positive and no chance of facing refusal in the end, but who knows. Definitely you don't, I don't either.

I suggest order your (sponsor's) GCMS Notes and your parents'. You can see from there what's going on with your application. It just takes 30 days to arrive though. How many days have they been given to comply with all the requests?

They have 30 days to provide all the documents/ payments they requested.

Should I still apply for the notes?

See, my take on it is they are doing what they are supposed to since I asked to proceed with the application. They have no grounds so far to reject my parents, right? So I think they are just following the procedure.
I do want to think positive though... of course.

They will certainly look at any information you've sent. If there's a question about whether you meet the financial requirements and you are able to send documents to prove that you do, then you'll be fine.

Thank you!
I have a question about co-signer form. As I am filing co-signer form I am a bit confused at which box I should be checking:
B) Previous Undertakings
- http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5768E.PDF
4. Complete this section only if your spouse or common-law partner is co-signing the undertaking

I am confused by the terminology and not sure what "previous undertakings" refers to?

We are sponsoring my parents (mom + dad); we have a toddler and its me and my husband. Total 5. What should I be checking in the previous undertakings and what should my husband as a co-signer?

I am trying to send this form via case specific requirements after the decisions has been made and documents have been sent to Warsaw VO.
Greatly appreciate your help!
