Stuck in IP2

My IP2 stuck since 27-Apr. My AOR is 3-Dec-2016. FSW - O
Its been more than 5-6 weeks now.

What date did you get ip2? Did you ring cic to find out your application status?

May 25, 2017. I ordered GCMS on May 12,2017, so i expect to receive the report by next week

Just got a response from Ottawa email:

Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.
Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed.

Your batch is not necessary formed by your AOR.
More possible batches are formed by officers assigned.

Are you sure of this? Could it all just mean that the batch my officer happens to be dealing with has a few complicated cases which are awaiting finalisation?

The most likely explanation is that your file is undergoing additional security screening. That said, there have been several cases of approved applications not being sent PPRs on this forum. I would recommend you call IRCC and check the status of your application.
