Congrats! Which stream you're from? The state of my Permanent Residency application has changed today to 'Approved'. Does it mean that they processed the passport scans and will send back COPR shortly?

If you look up this very thread, you'll see that someone has used USPS to send the passport and the pre-paid, self-addressed UPS envelope for return from CIC, whereas someone else has used UPS both ways.Hi All!
I am trying to sort out the shipping labels for the return envelopes . The Fedex and UPS locations I went to, outright refused to generate a shipping label for the return envelope. Apparently, their system wont let them do it. So after a lot of back and forth and checking the forums, I realized there is something called the international way bill at Fedex. This has to be attached with the return envelope along with the Fedex account number. Does anyone know the exact process? I would really appreciate any advise! Thank you.
I used ups for return label. If you look up this very thread, you'll see that someone has used USPS to send the passport and the pre-paid, self-addressed UPS envelope for return from CIC, whereas someone else has used UPS both ways.
But if you want much more expensive yet speedier and arguably more reliable service, you can use FedEx. (AFAIK, they can ship to Ottawa in 12 hours from metropolitan areas in the US, and many big firms use them for critical products and documents.)
To create shipping and return labels you need to use FedEx Ship Manager, which requires that you create an online account. If you're not sure, go to a FedEx location. They can help you with generating labels after you create the account. Just to be safe, take care of custom declarations for both shipping and return too.
