Pls help how do i link my application

i applied to sponsor my spouse here in canada. We sent an application for an open work permit to the same location afterwards which was accepted. I received a confirmation of my application today via mail with Application number and UCI number. Yesterday my wife received a seperate mail with same application number but different uci number. She has been asked to link her paper application online. We tried linking yesterday with details in application and when that did not go through we used the uci/application number but got logged out after 5 tries. Today we attempted using the permanent resident application and subsequently the trv under work permit but we are still unable to link the application. We have complained under technical difficulties but no response yet. Pls what is the proper procedure to link the application and what application are we supposed to be linking?

Try this:

(1) After Login and selecting Permanent residence and subcategory as Family Class (Spouse).


(2) Then select Application Number and Family Name option and fill the following information.


Application Number:

Family Name:


(3) Next in applicant personal info panel fill Passport information only and DO NOT FILL CITY AND COUNTRY OF BIRTH. Leave it empty.

Then Enter following information as per your file:

(4) Passport Number:


(5) Country of Issue:


(6) Issue Date:


(7) Expiry Date:

(8) Province:


(9) City/Town/Village:


(10) Current Marital Status:


(11) Number of family members, including the primary applicant... :
