Hi.. Is it true that those who entered Canada this 2017 holding a work permit are already not allowed to apply for PR someday?

Because some are saying that we are not allowed anymore. As the govt of canada change already. Thats why i am worried because i dont know if its true or not..

Thank you for the answer.. I feel relief now that still, we have the chance to become a permanent resident here in canada as this is really my dream. Thank you again..
