I used USPS to send it up, and UPS for prepaid envelope for return. Cost me about $10 to send it up, and about $25 for the return.
Thank you Mthornt,
I will probably use UPS as well. My PPR came on 5th June and I could not send my passport today.
I just came back from FedEx, everyone, if you are shipping from the US, Please DONT use FedEx, it sucks!!
They dont let you create a return label properly and they wont even do it for you.

Hope this helps

You're from the UK right? Did you send your passport, or photocopy?
I sent my passport just to be safe. I know other EU country members who've done the same, so hopefully won't be penalized for it

I got PPR on June 1st, but couldn't send it until June 5th. Needed to get new photos made.

I don't think it will be a huge deal, however this is what I read in my PPR. I sent mine from the US so I'm not sure if this pertains to you or not...

If you are holder of passport(s) from countries whose citizens need an eTA to travel to Canada or a holder of passport(s) from the United States, you will need to submit one photocopy of the photo page and any pages containing amendments of the passport for you and for each accompanying family member. Please do not send your original passport(s). Your passport(s) should be valid for at least 6 months.

Like I said various people on here and that I know personally sent their passport in and it wasn't an issue. It does pertain to me but, I guess I'll wait and see :)

I just logged in to my CIC account and it shows that COPR has been generated. I don't know when this happened. The passports should be back in mail soon!
Hi Sarah, where can you see this message? Is it in the Application/profile details for your Application (the same page with Application status,
Review of eligibility, Background check ... etc)?

Finally, PR approved.

PPR received 05.30
PP sent 05.31
PP delivered 06.02
PR approved 06.07

My passport is eligible for eTA, so I only sent photocopies as per instructions.

Happy days!
