My friend submitted on April 08/16 and got her MR in exactly one year April 08/17. It says they received my application on May 12/16, but I still haven't got MR. Waiting for the email everyday~~~

May 26 applicant. Waiting for MR. This morning CIC status says additional document is needed, and I do see an MR. But, I see no new document link.

The myCIC website layout changed a bit. There is a new section added for biometrics that says "We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes."

CIC account changed. This is what mine says:

Application status - We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility - We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements Review of additional documents - The additional documents you provided are being reviewed.
If we need your biometrics, we will send you a message in your account telling you how to submit biometrics.
Background check - Not applicable.
In some cases, we need to verify criminal, security and/or other background information to make sure you are admissible to Canada. If we need more information from you, we will send you a message.
Final decision - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.


I uploaded additional documents in Oct when they sent out the request, thought they have reviewed them wayyyy back then lol

you will get it soon. They are probably gathering all the applicant files now and send MR all at once.

No I linked my paper application to cic account after receiving the request to do so

HI there. i am an inland applicant. i have submitted my application in early december 2016. its been 6 months now. today i check online cic account, In front of Review of medical saying "we have requested a medical exam. check your message below for details." however there is no message below. can someone give me an idea about this?
Is this a medical request ?
i also have a representative.
i have applied under provincial nominee process. paper based.

I got the same status too. For my medical, it says we have requested a medical exam, please see the message below, but I don't have any new message.
