Job while studying to sponsor spouse?

Hi all
I am getting married in October but my company is not happy with the idea of me taking vacation for 2 months. So I might have to quit as I can not change my dates or cancel my wedding.
Worst case scenario I quit and I'll be full time student in Jan 2018.
Can I still sponsor my spouse if I'm a student and don't have a job but enough funds?
Or job is Must??
I'm PR and have a student loan.

Yes you still can but do you mind me asking how did you get PR? As for certain situations you can't sponsor for 5 years after you've received it

theres no incoming requirement to sponsor yous spouse, however, CIC will ask you how you plan on supporting yourselves

I got my PR through skilled class 2 years ago

what if I show I have enough funds and he is settled in Australia. I am evaluating these options just in case I quit my job then I dont have to come and look for job first to apply for sponsorship

You don't need to be employed. You need to show IRCC that you can support yourselves in Canada without welfare. You can show savings/investments, his income, income potential, family assistance etc.
