Hi Mandy.c. I got only payment receipt confirmation number in cic account letter with payment details.Only i can see is "Confirmation of Online Application Transmission" in the subject column when i check status and messages. But no application number.

You would have received a second message in your CIC account with subject "Submission confirmation". Click on the to view message. It will download a letter from CIC. The application number is right there on the top left near the date. Also when you log into your CIC account and scroll down to "view my submitted applications or profiles", you can see your application number there.

As I remember there a guidance on CIC website that you should not send any additional document after your submission except when the visa office contacts you to ask for it.

No no its a not a problem ,but many student got visa in sept 5th to 10th.there is a problem for sept intake...only 5/10 days delay visa and delay 4 month for study ..
