US Police Clearance: FBI Processing Times

An update on the status......received the police clearance yesterday may 16 2017 and courired it to cic, they received it this morning. Does anyone know how long would they take to grant the citizenship now. Test is already done. Thanks

Hey guys, so I have called the FBI yesterday and they were processing March 21st yesterday. My application has been received on the March 20th so it has been processed a few days ago. The resultd will be sent out on Monday, at least that's what they told me. Does anyone have a clue how long til I receive it in France?

Has anyone here received it in France, Germany or some other EU country?

I hope it will not be more than 2 weeks as I really need to submit it by June 3rd.

I'm from Prague and I had my fingerprints taken by a professional who specializes in providing fingerprints for the FBI checks. He does this like a full package - the fingerprints, delivery to the FBI, payment and communication with the FBI at the cost of about EUR 200. He has done this many times before and told me that the delivery from West Virginia to EU is about 2 weeks. FBI apparently uses regular-priority mail service.

The postal service in EU and the US is decent quality so it definitely should not happen that the police certificate gets lost or something.

My form was delivered to FBI on March 24. I will let you know when I get my results back - I will be happy if you let me know when you get yours too.

That would be standard postal delivery times from US to France.

For us in Canada, it was exactly two calendar weeks from when the letter was dated to when we received it. Granted, I assume it takes a day or two for FBI systems to print, seal an envelope and send it out.

I have received my background check this morning in the mail!

Here is my timeline:

March 8th I have mailed my envelope from Paris, France.
March 20th Enveloppe has reached the FBI.
May 17th My card was charged.
May 22st Report sent out by the FBI.
May 29th Report received in France.

What date will be on the FBI PCC? the date we put on the fingerprint card while submitting or the date FBI actually opens the packet and does the check?

On the summary it will state the date the search was completed which is right before they send the result to you.
