I got my medicals done on 25th May. The results were submitted through e-medical by the doc on 1st June (Yesterday).
This morning (2nd June) myCIC was updated with the following:
"You passed the medical exam."
ECAS was updated with:
"Medical results have been received."

This may serve as a marker for guys on here.

Hi there, could you please tell me the procedure of doing upfront medical?
i have submitted i file to cic in december 2016. and did not get medical request yet. so i am thinking about to do upfront medical. i mean how did you do the upfront medical. what sort of documents i need to take to doctor and which document would i get after medical from doctor to upload it or submit it by CSE or something.
see if you get time to answer my questions, will be really appreciate your help.

Hi, I did not do upfront medicals. I got an MR on 2 May. My file was submitted by my company on 8th May (2016).

I know the clinic I went to in Kitchener does upfront medicals. I believe you will need ur passport and a letter from CIC stating your UCI number for upfront medicals. The best thing to do would be just call the clinic and ask them what they need if you really want to do it.

Also, I might sound like a preacher, but please take it easy bro. I would say don't stress too much and let things take the determined course. There are a lot of people in this thread who have applied a lot earlier that you and are still waiting on MRs. I understand that it's very frustrating and you might have your personal circumstances you need to tend to but it's not gonna make the process any faster. Everyone needs their files processed the right away so please don't make your peace of mind contingent on CIC.

April applicant with family.. just waiting for medical results for my children.. Medical done May 01,2017 still no update in mycic,and ecas : "your medicals have been received" . IS IT NORMAL?

I also applied BOWP on April 26,2017 my WP expires June 20,2017. Still no updates.. I'm so worried..

Medicals received on ECAS means you passed the medicals (AFAIK).

Really! But in mycic no updates, only states standard status. Me and my spouse did upfront last October 2016 and we passed based on GCMS notes.

I passed mine last week and both CIC and ECAS changed the same day. Maybe yours is different as u did upfront.
