Hey so I'm getting my common law PR outland app together and i had a few questions on some of the forms

On IM 0008:

1. It asks on question 4 of the education/occupation section what my "intended occupation" is and I'm not sure how to answer because I have no idea what it will be. I plan to just get any job I can once i am legally able to. Anyone know what to put or should leave it blank?

2. On the dependants section do I need to include my common law partner as one? She's a canadian citizen and is the one sponsoring me so I'm not sure but it does say to include common law partners.

On IM 5406:

1. It says list family members and their info but I have 7 siblings and there aren't enough spaces. Should i just like copy and paste more spaces on a separate page to list the rest? And do definitely I need to include them even tho they aren't coming to Canada with me?

2. It says on the actual form that my common law partner would need to fill out this form as well but in the checklist document it just says "family members" 18 years or older? I guess I'm confused as to whether my GF who's my common law partner/the one who's sponsoring me needs to fill this form out

On IM 5532:

1. On the sponsor section of this form it asks to list financially dependant people. Should I be listed there since I'm technically dependant on her while I'm living with her?

2. It asks about any family of the PA that lives in Canada and I have 4 cousins/aunt and uncle but they have nothing to do with my relationship/move to canada and don't even know my GF. Do i still need to list them and their age and address and stuff?

On IM 0008:

1) Best not to leave anything blank on any application to avoid getting it sent back. If your area of interest is in social work, put in social worker. If your area is more broad - english background = communications. It's your "intended" area so it isn't a concrete statement.

2) Dependent is defined as children or people in your care under the age of 18 (I think it is 18?) Your spouse is not a dependent.

On IM 5406:

1) They check your whole immediate family in the BC, so fill out the additional family members on a separate doc and attached it to the form. It's common to attach a word doc with additional info for some of the forms.

2) Your spouse information only needs to be in the section A portion. 5406 is under the Principal Applicants section of the checklist meaning only the PA has to fill it out. If your app included people over the age of 18 applying for PR, they would also need to fill the app out for themselves. With your app, only the PA has to fill it out (if there are no dependants coming with you).

Just wanted to share my timeline to receiving the COPR after the ready for Visa email:

May 10th we received ready for visa email
May 19th we sent photos, photocopy of passport, address confirmation annex A document
May 24th above documents received by CIC
May 31st principal applicant's gckey page updated to "application approved" in the final decision line
June 1st xpresspost Canada to US return envelope tracking number activated

The envelope should arrive with my spouse (the PA) on Monday or Tuesday, according to the delivery standards published by Canada post. Overall it took almost 4 weeks but we weren't ready to send documents on the day we received the ready for visa email. Once CIC got the documents, the turnaround was 8 days. Not bad, pretty quick.

I haven't been here for a while, so I apologize if you've already posted this ... have you submitted the medical (and the police certificate)? If yes, and they don't require more information from you, then you will probably hear something the beginning of next month. Someone mentioned that the final decision seems to go out in batches at the beginning of the month and that was true for us. We just got ours over the weekend. We provided the medical upfront with the old kit, but they asked us for another police certificate despite already having it and that slowed everything down. I think we'd have gotten DM last month, otherwise.

just now finding out there is an US outland thread.
My Timeline:
Received... Feb. 6
AOR1... Feb. 22
S/A... Mar. 2
Medical approved... Mar. 3

-PCC and Schd A attached Feb. 21 (we found this out by calling and making sure they received them since we sent them ahead of time.. we added a note saying we had them since we were doing the old kit then switched to the new one, but if they needed new ones we understood.)

So I have yet to get AOR2, or anything sent to me about being transferred to a new VO.
The same phone called that I found out when those documents were attached is also when the woman on the phone said she would send a note to the officers asking why there is no info on transfer. That was May 23rd.
June 5. I called again (playing dumb like the note was for me and was like "i never received any note..") After clarifying that the note wasn't for me he said that they had responded to the note on May 25th and said, "The application is in the back office on it's way to Ottawa." The guy on the phone started telling me about how there is a huge backlog in Mississauga --> Ottawa transfers right now. He told me everything looks good. It's just on it's way to Ottawa.
So.. now we know we're going to Ottawa at least.
Nerve racked as to why it's taking so long to get there..

I was given an AOR2 email from Ottawa. It isn't common but some get it.
Yes, we got one as well. It was sent to me. For some reason, all communications from the CIC have been to me. My husband, the applicant, has never heard a peep from them.

My situation may have changed and looking for guidance:

I am American, been in Canada 5 months as a tourist, getting married to a Canadian next month. We were originally planning to apply for PR via spousal sponsorship right after that. I am now wondering if I need to do this, the reason being that we are planning to move to the US sometime late next year.

I read a lot on another thread about apps getting rejected if you don't seem to really have intent to stay here permanently. We really wanted to live in both- a couple years here, couple years or so in the US, and maybe back again. But I'd think that'd be hard to show.

We'd rather put the time & money towards my partner's US paperwork if we don't actually need PR for me (we assumed we did in order for me to stay), but this is dependent on visa extensions (questions below).

My questions:

I am applying for a one year visa extension right now since mine runs out days before our wedding next month. I assumed that this extension PLUS proof of having submitted a PR app would be enough to get me in and out of the border over the next year (leaving for honeymoon, travel, etc). This is because I know I lose Implied Status for my PR app once I leave the country, so the visa is necessary.

1) Does anyone have experience with not only staying here on such a long visa extension but coming & going with ONLY a visa extension and no proof of a submitted PR app? I could always say we are working on it, but is that enough? Is that even necessary?

2) I understand that a first extension is very common and easy for Americans to get, even for a year. Does anyone have experience with a second extension for at least a few months? The only way this plan of not applying for PR would work is if I could get a second extension to carry me through our time til moving late next year.

I reallllly appreciate the help. We've been working on all of this for weeks, but if we can skip PR for me and start instead on PR for her (the other way) it would save so much time & money!

[I edited this after finding out from another member that time w/ my Canadian spouse spent outside Canada DOES count towards my RO, which was another issue, now solved.]

This is not the answer you want to hear but unless the PA is a green card holder or American citizen, they will choose the visa office base on his/her nationality not current place of residence.
