surprisingly Decision in progress took only 5 days for me.Decision in progress stage took one and a half weeks (about 10-11 days). Yes the wait is terrible, but be patient, it will come.
They might be processing the applications in batches. Anyway, a few days here and there is nothing compared to the long waiting times applicants on the paper based steams faced earlier. Then again they did not have online systems to check the progress of their applications and communication was through snail mail.surprisingly Decision in progress took only 5 days for me.
I was lucky to get the nomination 24 hours before the draw. The additional 600 CRS points came in just in time for the draw. Hope you get the ITA too as you accepted before the draw. If not, then next draw is just behind the door. Start collection the additional documents required and organise your medicals. You will then gain a few days on your application submission.I got the nomination too, but I received email just 1 hour before the draw. I accepted it, but I think I have to wait for the next draw for ITA.
The application will probably get in the same queue waiting for its time to be processed. However, the processing itself should be faster as documents have already been validated by OINP and probability of success is higher.Do you think with nomination, the process post ITA would be faster?
I had the same question about medicals but it seems they are not necessarily required at the time of submission. Check thisI got nomination last week while I was camping with my family !!!! The first email said that Ontario was trying to nominate me but my profile was no longer available So had to recreate whole EE profile with very limited wifi and nomination came within 3 hours and that night I got the ITA ! Phewwww. Now gathering documents etc for Canada.
On here looking for how the medical works. I can't seem to find the info if the medical has to be done before the application is submitted ... Any help ?
Hi - yes you do apparently. I'm uploading the documents in the application and one is the medical tests for each family member ( marked "required" ). Have our appointments a week next Friday !I had the same question about medicals but it seems they are not necessarily required at the time of submission. Check this

What the **** is this ? i got the same thing ...CIC has just updated their online application form after two days of downtime. It is now asking me for a "Language test PIN" for my TEF results.
Anyone knows what this is?
