You must list ALL addresses as per requirement. Just enter estimated dates.

All the best
Is there any placeholder or section after "Contimue", that requires proof for the addresses I stayed?...

Hi All,
If you have a CSR point of 387 is there any chance that you will be considered for the ITA? My CSR is 387 as I have not selected any points from the "Additional Points" Category.
Well, it is very difficult to predict, however your score is on the low side. So I would advise you make all efforts to increase it. For example, if your Language scores are below L8 S7 W7 R7 you can retake the test. Getting these high scores will significantly increase your score.

You may find this statistical analysis on how scores will go below 400 at the end of July encouraging:

Best of luck

hi guys,
a question,is it normal to receive addl doc (travel history) req before medical passes???
Hi,

Contrary to popular belief, it is. This is because your medicals are assessed separately from the rest of your application.

All the best

Dear Forum Members,

I would appreciate your thoughts about my situation

I currently have an ITA and was going to apply under FSW Outland. However I am about to receive a post doctoral offer (which falls under LMIA exempt category) for one year in Canada. I was thinking I could get there and apply for PR and was hoping to avoid the use of proof of funds by using postdoc offer to apply for PR. However, since I cannot apply for PR and work permit at the same time as I may have to travel soon; I will have to apply for work permit first and apply for PR in Canada.

My question is from the cic website it seems that LMIA exempt work permit holders can only consider the jobs as valid if

you have a valid work permit for a NOC 0, A or B job that is exempt from needing an LMIA, and you:

  • are currently working for an employer specified on the work permit
  • have one year of full-time work experience (or an equal amount of part-time work) for that employer and
  • have a valid job offer from that employer for at least one year after we issue your permanent resident visa.

Does this mean I cannot use my Post doctoral position to apply for PR?

Alternatively can I still apply when I apply as Federal Skill worker Inland using the proof of funds I would have used to apply for PR while out of Canada?

Or is it better to work for a year for a year and then apply under CEC category?

Thank you so much for your valuable inputs…

Thanks TanakaM, I haven't done my IELTS Test yet, Its scheduled in August. Therefore I just based my rough estimate without selecting any additional points. However I did try to increase the score for my language test and Yes I did cross over 400 CSR. Thanks for the link :)

Hi all,

I received ITA in the current CIC draw as my score was 413.

I have a query - My IELTS score will be expiring in December 7, 2017, so i have the score valid for the next 6 months. Once I accept the ITA will my IELTS score freeze while CIC processes my application for PR (as processing might take more than 6 months and my IELTS score will than be invalid)

or

do i need to appear for IELTS test again so as to maintain my CIC score.

Please advise.

Yes I think it is 30 entries. You can mention the rest in a separate document and attach with LOE.
Ok thanks! We should not include trips between Residency country and origin country right?

Hi and congrats, you are one step closer to your dream.

IELTS scores are frozen at the time of ITA, so you are good to go. No need to retake the test.

All the best
