I am a passout from SRMIET college which is affiliated to Kurukshetra university. I need to know what is the the procedure of getting education credentials assessed from WES. I know the transcripts are needed to be sent in a sealed envelop with the uni's seal. Do i need to get transcripts from college as well ? What are the tasks that are required to be done at college side and what are the tasks to be done at uni's side ? Kindly help...

There is no need to get anything from the college. The sealed and attested copies of transcripts need to be obtained from the University.
As per my understanding, nothing is required from College... Visit Kurukshetra University with copies of your DMCs and Degree (as many copies as many transcripts needed). you need to register at WES to get reference number. Post you make payment at WES you will get a form to be given to University. Fill that form and submit along with copies of DMCs and Degree. University will take around 3 weeks to prepare transcripts, you may have to visit again to pay for courier charges and that will take 3-4 days to deliver your transcripts at WES Canada. WES will inturn take another 3 weeks to evaluate your credentials.
I was told that the uni sends the transcripts to the owner's home and we have to pay for courier charges for that. Then i will have to send the transcripts to wes myself. Is that not the case ? And one more thing, does the uni have to fill the wes form or is it to be filled by me only ?

It depends on the university, some university such as KU do not give the transcript to students, they rather send it directly to foreign organization or university.
Also, you will have to fill that form, most likely you will receive that from WES on your email.

If you haven't received that form... KU has a copy too... they will charge INR 100 for it....
That form will not be sent to WES but KU will use it for their own official purpose... basically that form will have your details, WES reference number, WES address etc... so its just an application form that you need to submit at KU for getting transcripts....
