Stamping of visa in a different country then the one applied from

Hi everyone,

I have applied through vfs dubai on the 4th May for a visitor visa. I will be flying to Canada on the 20th May however i need to fly on the 4th June to Paris and from there to Canada. Do you think i can have my visa stamped from the canadian consulate or visa office in Paris?

Did you mean the 20th June? And, have you received a passport request? Anyways.

Yes, you can submit your passport to the Paris VAC, not to the Canadian visa office. You must email the Abu Dhabi + Paris visa offices to confirm that you can submit your passport there.

Do factor in about a week for visa stamping/passport transmission in your travel plans

I already emailed the immigration department regarding the stamping in Paris last Thursday but till today no response.
Do you think i need to go to the consulate of Canada in Dubai in person to request for that? If not, do you have an email address to which i can send my request to?

Did you mean the 20th June? And, have you received a passport request? Anyways.

No i haven't yet, only email i received is that my documents are at the Immigration office in Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi visa office will not reply to your email as they have not made any decision + you have not received any passport request.

Visiting the Abu Dhabi visa office won't help. Maybe you should hold off or delay your travel plans for Canada until you have a TRV.

My travel date is the 20th June so i still have time, my main concern is once i have a passport request and the immigration has made a decision can i submit my passport to Vac in Paris for visa stamping or not? And in that case, should i send a mail to both vac in Dubai and Paris confirming that?
