Hi,

I have applied for the Express Entry but my agent says that my affidavits are insufficient as they are based on a single document as proof. The following are the scenarios for 3 of my past 6 employers;

Scenario 1: Employer unable to give Reference Letter as employee records were lost in a flood. This is also stated in the email from the employer. A Relieving Letter is available. Employment duration was 1 year.

Scenario 2: Company Chairman has expired & current company MD is unable to give the Reference Letter. The company MD has not stated any reasons in his email for being unable to give a Reference Letter. A Relieving Letter & Tax Returns of one year are available. Employment duration was 1.5 years.

Scenario 3: Employer has ceased operations & hence could not contact anyone. A Relieving Letter is available. Employment duration was 3 months.

For the scenarios listed above, will the supporting documents render insufficient? Moreover, I'm currently in a different profile since the last 8 years & I'm applying using the NOC applicable for those 8 years of experience. Will the above scenarios make my case weak?

Thanks,

An Aspiring Immigrant.

If you are applying under a different NOC apart form the one's mentioned above and have around 8 years of experience in it, you can get a reference letter for this recent experience and it will be more than sufficient. you will have more experience than required by CIC under this recent NOC and ul get maximum points for 8 years of experience

Rest of the experience (mentioned earlier) you can show in personal history post receiving an ITA and u need not show any reference letters for them
