Hi everyone,

My application process for EE got cancelled as it was deemed incomplete (according to its status). I was wondering if additional information (as to what information have been ommitted in the application) will be provided. I believe nothing was forgotten when submitting my application.

Thank you

May be this is your problem as I checked http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/update-application-after-having-submitted-ee.480424/#post-5859653

Your CSE come slower to the officer when they are checking your application. This happened to many people already. That's why I recommend people to withdraw their application if they don't have PCC or plan to submit it later through CSE.

Hi Romrumrira,

I sent an email to update my travel history a month ago, received a first email letting a few days ago letting me know my profile has been updated (without showing anything different), then a second update email saying the application processed was cancelled. Finally, after looking at my cic profile a few hours later, that's when I saw it was deemed incomplete.

As I travel a lot for work (with undetermined dates and destinations), I was told that I should send a message to CIC everytime I travel to a new country.

Do you think this could be the problem? What do you recommend I should do? I will be travelling to an additional 12 countries in the coming 6 months, I hope I won't run into such problems everytime I update my profile.

Thank you

You'll likely get the reason tomorrow through another email I guess. Mostly you'd have missed PCC for a country that you cumulatively visited for six or more months.

Your travel history is generally not a reason for rejection. If they need clarifications on your travel history, they'll send you an additional documents request. It's probably PCC related.

It's not your travel because if CIC need your history travel, they will request "additional document request" (ADR). So, it's coming from your PCC properly.

Thanks everyone.

I have only lived (or stayed as a tourist) in four countries for at least 6 months and have submitted a PCC for each of them.

When CIC rejects an application as incomplete, they send a message to you stating the reasons why. This typically shows up in the "Application Messages" section with the subject "Other - [Date of notice]."

Did you receive a message like this? If so, it tells you in the body of the message what was missing.

Did you remotely work/study for a company based out in different country or college by any chance? PCC required for such countries too.

I don't have a PC problem anymore - managed to receive my last criminal record a day before submitting it.

I am currently working remotely for a company based in England (for which I have already provided a PCC) from Canada (where I am currently staying as a tourist, and have been for less than 6 months in total).

I have not received any message detailing the issue. On the page with the list of submitted applications, in the "Details" column, it says "Cancelled as incomplete", but in once I access the more detailed page, it mentions again that my application has been cancelled, but in the last row that a decision has not yet been made about my application.

If you don't receive a detailed explanation by Tuesday, call CIC for an explanation.

Got an email from CIC, saying that I did not provide a proof of education:
"
Proof of education
o You have not provided a completed foreign education credential. Applications submitted without these mandatory documents cannot be considered complete.
You must have:
- a Canadian secondary (high school) or post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree, Or
- a completed foreign credential, and
- an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report from an agency approved by CIC. [The report must show your foreign education is equal to a completed Canadian secondary (high school) or post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree.]"

However, the WES report I have sent clearly states that the UK Bachelor and Master Degrees are equivalent to respectively a Bachelor and Master in Canada. When submitting my WES report, I have not sent a copy of my diploma as 1) it wasn't clearly stated that I should (see p.14 of the Application Guide for Ontario French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream):

"If you have a foreign degree, submit a copy of the ECA report:
o The ECA report must be issued on or after the date IRCC designated the organization;
o The ECA report must not be more than five years old on the date that IRCC receives your Express Entry profile and your application for permanent residence; AND
o The ECA report must state that your credential is the equivalent of a Canadian Bachelor’s degree or higher."

It states that I should submit a copy of my diploma only if it was granted from an academic institution in Canada. As such, I would like to get in touch with CIC to "uncancel" my application. Could you please tell me which was would be the most efficient to get in touch with CIC? I have tried numerous times over the phone and it never went through. I'd also like to avoid losing additional time by sending them a message.

Thank you for your help!

Rejection was expected for not including your degree, I would not waste time trying to appeal your case.
