CRS points difference between clb 7 and 9.

my current CRS points are 361 which is I know very low, so appearing for IELTS, and targeting band 8. so can some tell me how many points I earn to get into express entry ITA pool????

I read it somewhere that if you get CLB 9 in IELTS your education points get double. is this true? so that i can reach in 400 points range.

No - it's not true. Your education points remain the same. See the link above for information about how the points system works.

Well frankly, your education points don't double, but you get more points for :

1. Higher Band of IELTS Score(e.g. if you get a score of ielts 6(CLB 7) it gives you 16 points per category(L/R/S/W), But as Soon as you get CLB 9 (L-8,W-7,R-7,S-7)you get 29 points per category)

2. Skill Transferability Factor (when you score CLB 9) They tend to Double Up (25 to 50 per category).

and you would be able to identify in the skill transferability factors , if you score the higher bands in IELTS you could get upto 100 CRS points .
