I am working as an Automation QA Lead. Can somebody tell me if I should apply in Software Engineer NOC or Software test NOC.

As per my knowledge having a better match for job duties is more important than job title or designation.Check the suitable one which matches your job duties more.

CHECK NOC 2283.. that's what I used for my QA role.

Thanks. I am also planning to use the same code but somewhere on CanadaVisa I read people saying apply with code 2173/ 2171 which confused me.

Yes, I went through those as well but 2283 suited me the best!
