Two full-time jobs 1-month overlap

Hello everyone.

I received the invitation to apply for Express Entry.

There is a 1-month overlap between 2 full-time jobs: one is older, lasted 4 months officially (materially 3 months), and then the second one kicked in.
All the records (letters of employment, stubs, etc.) from the 2 employers show this overlap.

So basically for the entire month of January I appear to be working in TWO 40 hours/week full time jobs.

The reason is because I needed money and I was in very good relationships with the first employer, so, even though I stopped working in December, they accepted to pay me another month, even though I was already working for my new employer.

What do I do? Is that a problem?

Thank you

I don't understand why you counted the work experience from your first employment until January.

Yes, you got paid but you weren't working anymore so you cannot (and should not) claim it as work experience.

Thank you for answering.
No, I did not count it indeed.

And when I filled the forms of the work history and personal history, I mentioned that I stopped working for them in the beginning of January.

The problem is only the official records: since I was "officially" employed, in the employment letter from the employer and in my stubs it appears that I worked until February.

So basically what I claim (that I worked until the beginning of January) and what the records say (that I worked until Feburary) don't match.

Then get a reference letter stating the period until you actually worked for that employer.

If you choose to upload the pay stub of February then add an explanation.

Fantastic, thank you!
I won't upload the useless paystub. I wouldn't that the explanation will slow down the whole process. What do you think?
