Hey Friends,

I need advice on the below -

I believe passport need to have at least 2 years validity from the date of application. I hope I am correct? what I am confused about is - is it the requirement for all the family members (my spouse and son as well), or only me as the prime applicant?

What in case one does not have a Birth Certificate - Does the X (Tenth Standard Certificate) work?

Thanks, Regards,
Hi,

1) The is not true. The actual instruction you get when uploading the passport only says it must be current/valid. It make no reference to how long it must be valid for. However, I believe the PPR letter says your passport must be valid for 6 months when the Visa is issued. You are also free to renew your passport after submitting you application, while you wait for PPR. You will just need to update IRCC with the new detail.
-This applies to everyone, not just the principle applicant.

2) This is the instruction with regards to Birth certificates:

"Document requirements
  • This document is required only if the applicant identifies dependent children.
  • The document must be one of the following:
    • birth certificate;
    • equivalent document from the birth country; or
    • letter of explanation (where no birth certificate is available in the country)."
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

Based on the above I doubt that a Tenth Standard Certificate will do, the want a legal identity document.

Regards

Dear TanakaM,
Thanks so much
Besides, Do you know the mark for each of the range of working experience
1 ?mark
2y:...
....
I have just created a temporary profile in EE without submitting official doc/proof, hence there is no point indicated.
For the initial qualification stage (six faction selection) 1 year gives 9 points and 2-3 years gives 11 points.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

In the CRS you will have to play around with the CRS tool:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Best of luck

Yes, I used to play with that tool before and it seems to be updated since the last time I didnt see they stated working year clearly
Just a small concern of mine, if my working exp 2.5, it should be encouraged to fill with 2y in the scale of CRS tool ( but in Six selection factors, they are no different )

Hi Seniors.

I have asked parts of this lengthy question in few threads, but I would have a peace of mind if someone can confirm the following. I received ITA few days back and I'm in the process of uploading docs and I really don't want to mess anything up.
I have 2 UK bachelors degrees which I completed in my home country. In my EE profile, I have filled the education history as follows:
  • Degree A (By Correspondence) - Country of education: UK
  • Degree B (By Correspondence) - Country of education: UK
My ECA report for both the credentials also states the country of education as UK.

I have two issues:
1. When filling the personal history section, what should I do for the question "country/territory" ?
2. Now when going through reasons for rejection in various threads I came across instances where applications were rejected due to missing PCCs due to distance learning. can u apply for PCCs for countries which you haven't visited at all?

What are the additional documents that I can submit to prove that a PCC is not required in order to avoid rejection from the initial glance at my application.

Hi. I am not a lawyer, but I think it's because of your NOC.

I am sorry to say that a noc 1311 is not considered a high skilled job, thus it's not eligible experience for Express Entry :(

A job to be considered eligible has to have a NOC code with either a 0 as first digit, or a 1 or 2 as SECOND digit if the first digit is not 0.

I think that's the problem.

I wish you all the best
Sorry, this is incorrect. NOC 1311 is in category B, therefore it qualifies. Below is the requirement for foreign work experience:

"The applicant must have accumulated at least one year of continuous full-time (or the equivalent in part-time) paid work experience in the occupation identified in their application for permanent residence as their primary occupation. In calculating this period of work experience, the occupation must be listed in skill type 0 (Managerial occupations), skill level A (Professional occupations) or skill level B (Technical occupations and skilled trades) of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2011 [R75(2)(a)]."

Hi,

IRCC require that you write (by correspondence) next to the institution name so that they know that you were not physically present in that country.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

The people who are rejected for the reason you have mentioned above will not have followed this instruction. Therefore, the office assumes they were there.

So where it say:
Country/territory of study, you enter the country of the University.
Where did this activity take place, you enter the country where you were physically in.
(paraphrasing as I do not remember the exact words they use)

There are no additional document you can send, but you can mention this in your letter of explanation. However, if you follow the instruction, I am confident you wont go wrong.

All the best.

Ok, that's strange then.
Anyway, I would like to know that COPR(Visa) validity is based upon which document i.e. How much validity do they offer to enter the country?
You are required to land before the expiry of your medicals or before the expiry of your passport, whichever comes first.

The proof of relationship tab is created when you have said you have a relative in Canada. This is where you upload the proof. What does the other tab you are referring to say?
2) There will be a tab created for each role you have held, You must upload documents for each position separately. So I assume you have 2 entries in you employment history.

Regards
Got it Thanks... Tanaka... 1 Tab: Proof of Relation where I'll upload my Aunt's (Mom Sister) Passport copy and my mom's passport copy to validate the relation that they are real siblings.
2 Tab: Proof of status: I'll upload my Aunt PR Card Copy, Utility Bill, DL Copy.

Wil this Suffice??

"
ii. In the last 10 years, how many years of skilled work experience do you have?

It must have been paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation (NOC skill type 0, A or B)."
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Its very clear.

Yes, you must enter 2 year as this is what you have.

Looks good to me, but in tab 1 I would also add something as evidence of the relationship between you and your mother (birth certificate, or passport if it shows).

I'll add copy of my birth certificate. Perfect..!
And also is there any Tab spl for uploading birth certificate of Spouse or where we can add for her as well.?

and for passport Do we only need to provide bio pages or whole passport scan.? My current passport is 1 year old but my old passport had all travel stamps. So should I add that as well?

Also where we need to upload work permit, Study permit from canada.

1) birth certificates are not required for adults, you are only submitting it as proof of a relationship.
2) The instructions only request the biometric page/s and all pages with marks, stamps and visas of you current/valid passport. So no need for old passports.
3) If required you should have a tab for them. I'm not sure.

regards

Send an email to NC-NOC-CNP-GD2@hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca asking for the correct NOC for you to apply.

Make sure to mention the following in your email:
  • Job Title.
  • Description Of Your Main Duties.
  • Education And Work Experience Required By The Employer For Entry Into Your Occupation.Type Of Establishment In Which Your Work Is Performed.
They usually send you a reply with 2-3 business days.

Good Luck !!
Thank you so much. I will send email immediately & check.

Hi,

Well, the question is can you get a reference letter that supports your claim of having experience in NOC 1311 as requested below:

"
In addition, during that period of employment, the applicant must have

  • performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC [R75(2)(b)]; and
  • performed a substantial number of the main duties, including all of the essential duties, of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC [R75(2)(c)]."
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/econ/fsw/minimum.asp

If the answer is yes, then go for it. It wont affect you legally once you get to Canada.

Best of luck
Thanks; you mean reference letter from employer? not at all possible, because all are MNC. they will not give such. Even in my service certificate or reliving order no where mentioned about my roles & responsibilities. It just contains my designation, salary joined date and leaving date. So, is it ok if I just amend my resume? please guide me
