Please check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp to convert your IELTS score to CLB level and then check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp for CLB level to pointsHi Guys,
I'm new to the forum. Please guide how many points do I score for my IELTS under 67 points criteria ?
My score is L:8.5, R:7.5, W:7, S:6.5.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the prompt reply Jamal. I've done calculations with these links multiple times. The real question is that do I get points for each module separately or are they counted as a whole ?Please check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp to convert your IELTS score to CLB level and then check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp for CLB level to points

IELTS: L:8.5, R:7.5, W:7, S:6.5.
CLB: L:10, R:9, W:9, S:8 = 6+6+6+5 = 23 points
Or 5+5+5+5 = 20 points as I have CLB 8 because I have 6.5 in speaking ?
Basically I'm seeing if I score 67 points to be eligible to enter the pool for Express Entry.
My information is as follows:
IELTS: L:8.5, R:7.5, W:7, S:6.5. = CLB 8 (minimum) = 20 points
Education: Bachelor degree (three years), ECA done. = 22 points
NOC 2173 Experience Outside Canada: 5.25 years = 13 points
Age: 18-35 = 12 points
20+22+13+12 = 67.
Is my calculation correct ?
If I create my Express Entry profile, will it be accepted or rejected ?
Of course I'm giving test to improve my score to attain CLB 9
Thanks in advance.

IELTS: L:8.5, R:7.5, W:7, S:6.5.
CLB: L:10, R:9, W:9, S:8 = 6+6+6+5 = 23 points This is the correct score
Or 5+5+5+5 = 20 points as I have CLB 8 because I have 6.5 in speaking ?

Thanks for pointing out the wrong calculation.CIC says you should score same in each of the language skill. i think clb 8 is correct for u.
For education u need to have one more post secondary education apart from this degree to claim 22 points other wise only 21.
i believe ur score is 20+21+13+12 which is 66
Pls check again
It says I'm eligible for Express Entry, like it did a thousand times beforeUse Come to Canada tool to clear all your doubts.
