How do you know that your passport is stamped ? By tracking your return envelop or any updates on CIC account?

I am march 10th applicant. I SUBMITTED MINE AND MY HUDBAND UPFRONT MEDICAL ON NOVEMNER 15,2016.
On April 2017,I ordered a gcms notes it showed that medicals received and review in progress. On march 15 2017 ,MY MEDICAL EXPIRED AND MY HUSBAND MEDICAL WILL EXPIRE IN JULY 20,2017.Today I called my representative ,and he told me to do new medical for me as well as my husband ,because they will definitely ask for medicals again. What do u think that ?Do I need to do our medical again or just wait for asking that?..............please help me........................

If your medical is about to get expire when ur application is in process. It is better to redo medical and submit. CIC expect medical to b valid when application is in process.

when officer stamp passport... your Final Decision says approved. and In application details they have provided details about counterfoil.

Yes it is better to do it. Don't give them any reason to delay application.

Don't do them ! All the files are nostly delayed beyod 1 year and they are automatically renewing your medicals. What others are suggesting is a waste of time. For you to feel better, order GCM notes, you will notice that they send out your medicals for extension. This is what happened to me and to many others.. extension of medical results.

Also, previous guys on here recommended that i go do police clearance and provide it through case specific inquiry. I always thought that is a waste of time because CIC does the check for you unless they specifically ask you to do it. Story short, i go do it and upload it, i call CIC after a month asking if they recieved it, they told me you wasted your time.. no need for that, we already did it and you passed criminality check.

I said to redo it, applicant can always wait for request and submit it later. We al know here not all case are equal. There are many applicants here who have got medical request again because medical got expired. So it is up to applicants to make decision.
