There's a cic number that you call at bottom of landing letter
The number at the bottom of the letter is the call center... I don't think they have anything to do with scheduling the interview... this is done by the assigned office (Calgary in my case)

I sent them email asking for rescheduling this morning, and they have replied with acknowledgment, they said they will send me another email when they reschedule my account.

The question here... is it matter of day, weeks... till I get this schedule?
Do they always give a minimum week notice, or It could be a shorter notice?

and finally, my messy husband, doesn't remember where he saved the payment receipt... they need proof of payment for the landing interview

It is probably on your saved on your computer. That is what we did. Good thing is we printed extra copies of spousal application receipt and OWP receipt.

Hello everyone. This is the landing letter I received.

"In order to grant you permanent residence, you must provide us with satisfactory original identity documents. All applicants must provide their original valid passport at the landing interview. You must attend the interview with the following:  All of your dependents if they are included in this application  Your own interpreter, if required  Your sponsor if you are being landed under the In-Canada Spousal Class. (NOTE: your sponsor must bring photo identification and proof of address)  If you have not yet paid the Right of Permanent Residence Fee, $490 is required. (NOTE: Convention refugees (CR) and their dependants are exempted from paying this fee.) The following payment options are available: o Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Debit Card (we do not accept pre-paid credit cards) o Online payment at www.cic.gc.ca (only if completed 72 hours before your scheduled appointment) o We no longer accept cash, money orders or certified personal cheques  2 Photos for each person on this application taken within the last 12 months - see enclosed appendix for specifications  Certified copies of seized ID Documents and Notice of Seizure form. Persons being landed as Convention refugees (CR) and their dependants must provide the originals of the documents sent to CPC-Vegreville. If you are a CR and are unable to provide those documents, you may present any 2 of the following items (they must be issued by the government of your country of citizenship, nationality or last permanent residence): passport or travel document, National Identification Card, driver’s license, birth certificate/family record book, vote ID card/military ID card, Statutory Declaration (if accepted by CPC-V) Please note: if your passport is currently being held by the Government of Canada (CIC/CBSA), we will request it on your behalf. When you become a permanent resident, you must have your Social Insurance Number changed to reflect your new status. For your convenience, Service Canada representatives may be at this interview to assist you in obtaining your new Social Insurance Number, provided you meet the proof-of-identity requirements. Please bring your current Social Insurance Number card that begins with a "9" with you."

So I guess I need to take my passport and 2 photos (I paid the fees $490 already) and my husband (the sponsor) needs to take his id and address proof. Is there anything else I need to take for the interview?

Can you please tell me what this means? "Certified copies of seized ID Documents and Notice of Seizure form"

Do I have to take my SIN card too?

2 Photos for you and each dependent, if you have any
If you have a driver's licence, you can bring that
Your work permit, if you have one
Your temporary SIN, if you have one
Marriage certificate, just in case
Landing appointment letter

First, congratulations!

Bring the receipt confirming you paid the RPRF. It is usually written in the landing invitation, so just bring a copy to avoid potential troubles. If you paid everything from the beginning, your receipt will be of 1040$. If you paid your RPRF separately, you will have one with 490$.

Regarding the seized ID part. That is a generic part the some people have reported (we do not have it on our landing appointment letter). If your passport was not seized, don't pay attention to this part.

Your SIN card, yes. As they asked you in the last sentence.

hey guys I'm landing this saturday. I had my old receipt but it doesn't list the amount and what I paid other than a barcode, but I already paid my RRPF. is this receipt enough or I should print credit card statement?

And another quick question--when is exactly I become a permanent residence, is it after the interview, when I change my SIN, or when I got my PR card?

Congratulations Alila! You must be ecstatic.

The receipt we have has the total amount we paid. I believe it is CAD$1040.00. That will suffice. The bar code will give them the information.

I just checked. Our receipt has a receipt number with a bar code and the amount of CAD$1040.00 The other receipt the OWP also has a bar code and amount of CAD$255.00.

Our Receipt has the following

Receipt Number
Bar Code
Amount: CAD$1040.00
Card No
Card Type
Receipt No
Date of Payment
Order
Authorization Code
Reference No
ISO Code
Transaction Type
Issuer Name
Issuer Confirmation
Issue No
Resp Code Message

Thank you. I have my receipt but just an informational question for everyone, if you lose your original receipt how can you prove them you paid the RRPF? As far as I could remember (it's been two years!) the system only let you print the receipt once . . . or could it be emailed?
