CSQ Expired - Letter of Attestation

Did anyone have any experience with a situation where you got your CoPR but your CSQ has expired already. MIDI agent told me that I will need a letter of attestation. I have sent a request to them about a month ago.

Do we have someone who went through the same process. If I will not find any answer I will put my experience later for others.

I searched the forum, none of those have the same situation.

ok might be worth checking with MIDI then , was going thru ur timeline ..curious to know as CSQ is usually for 3 years and you received AOR and PPR within year ,how come your CSQ expired?

Funny and long story. In short, I wasn't been able to apply for Federal PR for 2 years after I received my CSQ. It was due to some personal and professional reasons.

Ahh ok ...come across this thread , looks if you have valid visa but CSQ is expired it shouldn't be an issue as per this thread..

Ok.... I got a new CSQ just the day after I posted it in the forum.
So how it went

I contacted MIDI about my CoPR, valid PR visa and expired CSQ.
They asked me to request a letter of attestation and send it to them
It took them a month to send me a new CSQ

Now I will be landing soon

Im on the same situation right now Im on federal stage now done our medical together with my daughter last oct. 2017 CSQ expired last nov. 2017 and received letter asking to update my csq and ask for extension send letter to midi last dec 2017 but up to now havent got updated csq. How long does it usually take to renew the csq? Worried so much. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance

Hi Calinda,

As mentioned in the post. Just call MIDI and asked them how to get letter of attestation. you will get your letter soon.
