Awaiting application response

Hello

I had applied for my visitor visa on 15th april and i called citizenship and immigration, they told me my application is with indian embassy though i have applied from u.s.. I gave my current address of u.s. In application and my residence address is of india..i dnt knw how my application went to indian embassy though the process should be from u.s.
I am still waiting for my visa reponse. Can anyone help or share their experiences.

What is your status in the U.S? also you are saying you did not put an Indian address in the application?
