Help: Pakistani PCC for multiple addresses in the same City

Dear members,

I have lived in the same city since the age of 18. However, my addresses have kept changing mutiple times. Would I have to take PCC for each address, or just for the fact that I have lived in this city/country and thats all?

Moreover, my permanent address is that of the village to which I belong, however, I have never lived there except for a day or two once in a while. Would I have to take PCC for my permanent address also?

Please guide me with this. Thanks you.

It depends upon the city in which you are living at the moment.

I live in lahore, but I was born in Karachi. Lahore Police required me that I should first get the PCC from Karachi as my passport shows that I was born in Karachi.

Moreover, I lived at 3 different places in Lahore. I mentioned all the places on the form. 2 places share the same police staiton and one place had a different police station.

They sent my form to both police stations for verification. When I recieved my PCC, it mentioned all the three addresses.

As per CIC requirement, if you have not lived at a place even if it is shown as your permanent residence on your CNIC, you are not required to get the PCC from there, but you might need it in order to get the PCC from your current city (depending upon the city).

Thanks a lot Imran. As my city of birth mentioned in passport is also the current city, therefore I think I shouldnt have much problem. As for my permanent address, i think if i havent lived there, then i shouldnt be required a PCC from there. Lets see what the police tells me. Thanks for your help.

While filling the form for PCC, it was required to put previous addresses. thats why i thought this single pCC will covers all the addresses. But my PCC says since 2006 till current date. is this PCC is fine or i need more pcc.?

one more thing, getting a pcc from the old address seems difficult, as it was years ago. and you have to provide two witnesses from that place as per requirement of police station.

I wrote this in my LOE and attached copy of my NIC showing my address which was same as the PCC.

Sorry for asking again but do we need multiple PCC for islamabad.

I was living since my 18th birth day till 2009 in one sector of islamabad which is the address i have on my NIC.

In 2009, I moved to UAE with multiple visits to pakistan till january 2017 but different address in islamabad.


So i get one pcc from date of birth till 2009 for address A and one for my last visit for address B.

And third for UAE ofcourse.

I have lived in 2 addresses since my 18th birthday in the same district my old id card mentions my 1st address and new id card mentions my post marital address from a different city.

hi i need help please my nic says two address one present which states khi addres and one permanent which states lahore address where i have never lived i had my nikkah in 2016 iam still living in khi i will move to lhr after my marriage but for immigration purpose i need police clearance certificate what should i do from which city pcc should be made some one told me to write both address khi and lahore in one pcc form but iam confused what to do kindly need help its urgent

My wife have two cities in her address history.
City A before marriage
City B after marraige

I got PCC for both cities , in City B they mentioned stay of my wife since birth , its overlapping with the City A dates.

Is it fine or not please advise ?

DIG office said I require only for the latest address, is it really the case?

You would need the PCC covering the last 10 years (or since you turned 18, whatever is latest). So yes, you will be needing PCC for your previous address too.
