Hello,

We're in the process of gathering all our documents to apply in July and I was hoping to get some clarity on two points-

(1) Birth certificate- If the birth isn't registered on the birthDAY is it considered late? for eg the birthday is 1st of January and the birth was registered saying "This person was born on 1st January" but ON 3rd January?

-If it is considered late, is it compulsory to submit a voter's card. My wife lives in Australia and doesn't have a voters card. What other documents can we submit to satisfy the "date of birth" requirement, apart from the class 10 school leaving certificate?

-Does the birth certificate need to be entirely in English? My wife's has the same phrase eg. "Birth certificate" written in English and Gujarati

(2) National Identity document- My wife doesn't have an Aadhaar card but has a PAN card and an Indian driver's license. What would you recommend be submitted for this section or can it be left blank?

Thank you in advance, your help is much appreciated!

Hello,

I am submitting the documents soon for sponsoring my spouse. I have questions on both of your points.

1) What did you do as your question was posted in May 2017. Is two days considered late?
2) Did you submit a National Identity document?

May I know the status of your application?
