I often hear people, in the forum, mention that CIC would wait for profiles with higher scores to accumulate, or that they wouldn't want the CRS to go below a certain threshold, etc, blah, blah. And, it just makes me laugh aloud. Those thoughts are simply ludicrous, and defies the very basis of EE system.

Guys, CIC doesn't give a shit about the CRS cut-off. All they care is, whether a person is eligible for its Federal Immigration Programme (based on their 67 point system). If someone is eligible, it means irrespective of her/his CRS score, which could even be below 300, that individual is eligible to immigrate to Canada, and Canada will gladly take her/him in.

Hence, if you have been accepted into the EE Stream, after spending all your resources on IELTS, ECA, etc. it is just a question of waiting for your turn to arrive. CRS cut-off is simply bullshit!! The game is all about meeting their quotas, and that's all I have to say (my over-confidence is conspicuously displayed in my signature below).

Have a great day, fellas!!
Yours is the voice of reason in all this madness. Thank you for saying this!

Any body knows do I need to provide PCC from Canada too as I lived there for 2 yrs?
Not required, unless you have been asked by CIC when processing your PR after ITA..

At our age, it's serious commitment to do something. I'm studying French, going for those new points. I've also been accepted to a master's program in Toronto (at my age!). Both of those options will take at least a year. But I'd rather be working on something that I know will increase my score than hoping no more young people with good english skills apply.

No judgment is intended. My score is just low enough that I don't think I can count on a steady score drop and nothing else changing. By my calculations, at the current rate of pool entry and 2 week draws, I'm about 6 months away. And that assumes that the rate of low 400 entries won't go up when the word spreads globally that the score broke the 450 barrier.

I know what you mean.

Good luck. I'm sure all your efforts will bear fruit.
