Hi all;

Did anyone get DM or Oath Ceremony in Ottawa recently? We've been waiting since our test in February for any movement and it's still In Process. CIC call centre keeps saying they are finalizing their security clearance after we submitted my wife's fingerprints. I was wondering if anyone had any DMs on eCAS or Oath Ceremonies in Ottawa within our timeline (applied in December, test and fingerprints in February).

Hi there,

I took my test on May 4th and ecas was updated two days later from in process to decision made. I'm just waiting on the oath invitation now. The interviewing officer told me it would be a couple of weeks.

My timeline is as follows:

Citizenship office - Ottawa


Citizenship app sent : Feb. 13, 2017

App received: Feb. 16, 2017

AOR: Feb. 27, 2017

In process: March 1, 2017

Test invite: April 18, 2017

Test date: May 4, 2017

Decision made : May 6, 2017

That's awesome! Congrats, KimM. Ours was moving really fast until we got a fingerprint request for my wife so we are still waiting. It's been almost 3 months since our test and our interviewing officer said it should be a few weeks until we heard something. Oh well, nothing to do but wait I guess.

We're still waiting for oath letter as well for my wife. she passed the test on March 9th and now its June 19th still in Process. this is really frustrating !! Happy 150 th Canada !!!!!
