I figured only 1 jan- 15 jan applications are delayed. Even late January applicants are getting ppr.

You are right, I am Jan 8 applicant and my background changed into in progress on 22 April, 2017.

I really don't know first of all, but I believe inland applicants deserve better.i got a korean gorl feom my work place she still didn't got the pr , when I ordered gcms notes for her her file move to manila office and they put a special note as complicated case so i wish she receives her pr soon and wish u will get pr soon as well

My background has changed to in-progress yesterday.
Oh' man, a week behind 16 months...
I'm sure, CIC can do much better than this...

I dont know. But I think it should be OK because my medical passed as February 21, 2017. My friend's medical passed as February 19, 2017 and she received PPR two weeks ago. I hope I can get it soon.

I passed my medical on 10th feb and still waiting for PPR... I got DM though... They have their own timelines and it all varies from case officer to case officer... sometimes they go on vacation and nobody will touch those files

You seem to be absolutely right. Jan 14 here. Still absolutely nothing from them. I really can't understand why. I wonder if we could figure out what we have in common other than the application dates. :s

I passed my medical on 10th feb and still waiting for PPR... I got DM though... They have their own timelines and it all varies from case officer to case officer... sometimes they go on vacation and nobody will touch those files

Finally I linked my paper application to my account.
I spoke with a case agent and she helped me linked it.
I noticed that my background check has started as today May 18, 2017.
The case agent said my application seems good right now, nothing to worry about. They might contact me in next few weeks.

I guess the officer who is handling the files of early January applicants doesn't seem work hard.

I don't know. We have a lazy case handler in common for sure.
BTW I passed medical on 27th Jan.
