Yes
We are sitting in the pool at 411, and I am the primary applicant. Do we get points for my husband's work experience outside of Canada or no? Should I delete it so we don't have to get an employer letter for it if we get ITA next draw?

Thanks in advance!

Yes you can delete it. You will only get points if your spouse has experience in Canada. If this is not the case (which is your case), relieve the burden of securing letters and delete that part from work history. Once you will have ITA you will be filling the personal history, and you can fit in this information there.

Good luck

Thank you so much! We can delete the whole thing without penalty? That's great news!

Hi,
There is no penalty like thing in EE.:)

I'd rather suggest you another better way for you.

Your CRS is 411, so there are less chances for you to get an ITA, since lowest till date is 415. (However, I'm no one to predict this!) There is some waiting time yet to get one.
But, let's say even if you do get an ITA, then you'll have 90 days to submit your complete profile. I think they are more than enough for you to gather all the supporting docs for your spouse's work experience.
You better include your spouse's work experience now in your EE profile. By the time, you gather all the docs. What say?

People are here who are struggling to increase even a single CRS point, and I don't think you should waste any opportunity to increase your CRS while you have one. Even 2 or 3 point increase also can make a significant difference.

All the best

Hi @jpv2212 ... I loved your suggestion, and the positive attitude towards helping others. However, I have to disagree with you as getting experience letters for her husband's work will not get her a single CRS. She can not get even one score for the work experience of her husband, so she can spend and focus her energy towards the things that will give her points.

She can safely delete all of the work experience of her husband and let it be the part of his personal history to save time energy.!

Best of Luck !

Oopss... My bad..:(

I'm really sorry for this. I totally forgot that it was spouse's work experience.
Kindly accept my apologies.

And thanks Faraz for pointing my mistake out.
+1 for you.

Thanks @jpv2212 and @farazafzal
I just re-submitted my profile now after deleting my wife's work history. I had to select 'If spouse has Work experience?' as 'No'. Guess that is fine.
Thought of reducing unnecessary work of getting reference letters since it is already not giving any score. I believe, I will get a chance to update her work experience/ personal experience post ITA.

Have a CRS score of 459, hoping to get ITA soon.
