Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I am a FSWO applicant and my AOR was Feb 2017. Based on the recent trend, I am hoping to get the PPR email in the next few months. However, I would like to come to Canada a little bit earlier for some reasons. I am thinking about entering Canada first using my student visa and wait for PPR in Canada, but there are three questions that bother me.

I've already had the student visa but my school starts in Sep. Will it be a problem if I enter Canada 3 months before the enrollment date?

Shall I inform CIC my address change by the time I arrive Canada?

Will it be a problem if I applied outland but send my passport to Ottawa?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Entering 3 month before starting of the school will ring the bells. Normally Immigration officers at the airport would ask you the reasons and if you don't have strong justification for this move this could be a problem. Remember the visa is a privilege not a right to enter and they can refuse the entry based on there assessment !!

Address change shall be communicated and is very important.

Well this is not a problem. I have seen at least one case where a person was in Country A, and his wife went to the home country for some emergency and they had a passport request. They communicated with CIC so that his wife can get her visa from home country while he gets it from Country A. The address change is also a key here, so that they can direct you for an interview (if necessary at all) etc.

Good luck
