Quick Question: Most of the doctors doesn't do upfront medical. One doctor said its too complicated and CIC will get confuse and might delay the process. They said wait for the upfront medical. How does it sounds from your point of view? You already done Medical. So I think you would be the right person to answer this.

Yes you are right. I'm April 25th applicant. Medical passed. BG not applicable.

I'm april 13,2016 (cic received app.) same timeline as yours.. children med done May 01,2017 still waiting for the results.

The medical exam I did was very quick... and I do not see anything complicated there to be honest. The doctor did some physical check, X ray scan, and collected some samples from me, then he uploaded all the results to eMedical database. I think, CIC just need to find me in the database to retrieve all the details. BUT again... it is CIC we are talking about.... anything so straightforward could be difficult for them to work with... I asked my immigration advisor, she told me my MR would normally be directly changed to Passed when the time comes. But I am not sure at this point...

Both, Mycic said "you passed the medical exam" and ecas said "Medical results have been received"

My ecas states" medical raults have been received" but nothing in mycic. I did medical upfront with spouse October 2016 & passed. My children just got MR May 01,2017 & done same day!..... still no results

depends on how complicated your file is or how extensive your security check is, some takes 2 months, some 5-6 months or even longer ..

I have done the ME in May 9th, it's still waiting for CIC reviewing, and not pass yet.

Looks like We are in Same boat. Background check not applicable for us. I think it looks like background check is done. Who knows they ask again for schedule A?
Is upfront medical helps? any ideaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.......

I am an inland applicant, did medical on April 17'th.

Everyone need BG check..I meant like in My CIC BG check in process to not applicable.. I think background check is done..
