Hours for full time job

hi guys,
On CIC website, Fulltime is defined as min 30 hours a week which is at least 1560 for a year.
1. Do over time hours include in that?
2. If I have equal to 2(1560) gathered from all my previous employments (part me and full time); 3120, would it be counted as 2 years work experience?

1. Overtime hours cannot be used to increase your work experience.
2. No - it won't be counted as 2 years. Take all of the weeks you worked 30 hours or more - all of these count as just one week no matter how many hours you worked. Now take all of your part time weeks, add the hours together and the divide by 30. Add these two numbers together to find out how many weeks of work experience you actually have.

Thanks. So for instance, if I worked partime for 4 weeks, 20 hours each week, I will have 80 hours in total. It's just confusing how less than 30 hours work could be add up together but more than 30 hours(OT) a week won't be acceptable.

Hello , guys i have something similar like this . I was a full time student and was working part time 20 hours per week during my term Term and working full time in the holidays that is 40 hours per week . So how my work experience calculated? Need Help

What if I'm missing few hours (35 hours) from total 1560 hours. I was sick on and off and missing couple weeks where I didn't work 30 hours/week. But I have letter from employer saying I worked full time during that time period, does that count as full time experience?

Your experience starts after your work permit, any work done while on study permit does not count for PR applications, doesn't matter what job you did.
