I don't think so. They will probably just verify the police clearance that you sent with your application.

This morning, I received an email from Ottawa, which asked me to submit the Canadian police certificate. But It is very strange. My wife was not asked to submit it.

Yeah its random , i know couple of my friends received RCMP clearance request and few of them not ...

My passport was received there(ottawa) on 8 may. It has been 7 business days and still no news.
I guess we just have to wait.

Has anyone received their passport in this week or last week? I'm also inland applicant.(QSW)

Hello,

I got my CSQ in Dec 16 and applied for my federal PR in March 17.
AoR received in April 17, but my passport is expiring in April 18.

My question is should I wait for my PR before I renew my passport ?
Does it matter if the entry visa or CoPR are issued on a passport about to expire ad will I need to cary my old Passport every time I travel if I choose to renew my passport after I receive my PR
