So we were drawn under express entry and are submitting all our documents. They claim to be processing applicants within 6 months, but we can not find any post from anyone if they received any type of response in a week, or month, or how long it took to actually receive residency under express entry. Anyone out there have any feedback on the new system beyond being drawn?

You don't get the residency just by making the draw. You need to prove what you've claimed in your profile by completing your e-APR (Electronic Application for Permanent Residency) and submitting your documents. The 6 months period starts after you do all that and it's not a fixed time.. meaning that it could be less or more.

I suggest you look at these links to get started:

I have not read of anyone whom has under the new system. Have you? They continue to draw record numbers, multiple times a month, and I wonder how they can process that many applicants within 6 months. Has it been taking a full 6 months?

Not everyone who gets drawn receives PR. Many of the applicants get rejected due to incomplete or invalid documentations. And 6 months is just a guideline by CIC. Some applicants receive their PRs in 1 month also while for others it can take 6 months or even more. If you looking for one number, you won't get it.

How do you know some applicants have received PR in 1 month? I realize incomplete/invalid docs would be an obvious delay or rejection. Thanks
