Update: I've been lurking in the OINP Sub-forum and the vibe is that Ontario is processing their nominations real quick. There will be considerable candidates with 600+ CRS in the forthcoming draws.

yup OINP is very fast.. 2 months tops they are taking..
many have got their nominations within last two weeks.. there will be additional 300-500 profiles in 1000+ crs..

Could you help me by sharing how you was able to score 8 in writing? Can you guide me towards any online resource that you used to achieve this score? I have given twice but got 6 both times.

Sorry for answering as you've not asked me, just wanted to help... there are plenty of tutorials in youtube. Just practice everyday (each modules) for 3 months and hopefully you can get 7 in all... even more...

Bunny2015 has already answered it correctly, just add a little bit more, ieltsmaterial is one stop shop for IETLS preparation. And they post a sample question almost every day with the model answer, try to attempt it on your own, then see how close you were with the model answer. This will help not only in improving the writing style but also the vocabulary.

Even though it isn't related, I would suggest attempting the test with BC in case you have a choice, IDP is full of shite (personal experience)! Good luck!
