Dear All,

I have IELTS score of CLB 9. I checked my score on the website, it is 367 for NOC code 2173.

Although I have very high IELTS score, but due to age of 38 and no CANDA work experience my overall score is less-367.

Seniors, please guide me on the following points:
1. Is there any point in creating my express entry profile, as overall score is less
2. What are the other options available with me for Canada immigration
3. Is there any chance I can get job offer to gain addnl 600 points. My overall IT experience is around 15 years.

Thanks
Ric

I believe a 38 year old will get 61 points for age not 55.

If you had a master's degree, your points would increase to 420. Some masters programs are only one year long.

CLB 10 will only give you 12 additional points - an additional course is your only option to boost CRS if you exclude the PNP o route

Hi, guys.

I'm having some trouble understanding the Provincial Nomination Program. I just entered the EE pool and I don't know if I am legible for the PNP.
My Overall score is not that great. My current IELTS is 7.5 and my NOC 5241.

1. What other options do I have?
2. Is only Increasing the IELTS scores will help me get an ITA? (I work in the US at the moment and I have been applying for jobs in Canada. Although I'm getting lots of replies LMIA process seems to scare everyone out.)
3. Can I apply for PNP with the current results?

Here are my scores:
Overall Score 392
Federal Skilled Worker Met
Provincial Nominee Program Not Met
Canadian Experience Class Not Met
Federal Skilled Trades Not Met
CRS Human Capital Age 99
CRS Human Capital Level of Education 135
CRS Human Capital First Official Language Proficiency 108
CRS Human Capital Second Official Language Proficiency 0
CRS Human Capital Canadian Work Experience 0
CRS Skill Transferability Education 25
CRS Skill Transferability Foreign Work Experience 25
CRS Skill Transferability Certificate of Qualification 0
CRS Canadian education 0
CRS Arranged Employment 0
CRS Provincial/ Territorial Nomination 0

I'm struggling with understanding PNP so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you very much!

Anna.
