another question i have.. sorry guys want to do it right this time.. when an application is back and they have highlighted what's missing.. does that mean the rest of the application is fine or does that mean they pretty much stop at where they find something missing or incomplete and dont go through the rest of the application. let me know if someone can put a light on this :)

hi sp121212 is your application 1st received was same as mine april 5th??? because i havent heard anything from them about my application until now

My spouse (main applicant) has to this or I can do it as well? I am using my bank account information to log in CIC not GCKEY. Any suggestion would be appreciated

Only the applicant should link the application to his/her account. She should be receiving her AOR email as well.

do you think that could be why there is no option for me to upload her sched A and PCC? her app is linked to my GCKey as I assigned myself as her rep

at first the app was linked to her account then I was able to re-link it to mine (seems it can only be linked to one account at a time) then shortly after linking it to my account I received the medical requests

I would think that you being her representative, you're making the application on her behalf, thus making you the one responsible to carry all the steps throughout the process. If you received the medical request, that confirms that you have the application as the PA would.

I think you not receiving the upload buttons/request on the account is just a technical issue from there end in their system.

just tried it and linked the app back to her account and no change

Notarized copies for sure because they will never return the documents back. Therefore you would lose the originals. And that would not be a good option.
Firstly by Original they mean the original documents and not the notary certified copy of the original, what notary does is he certify the photocopy of the original document to be the true copy of the original. Secondly, IRCC always return the requested original documents. Refer link for similar discussion on this forum: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-im...hreads/cic-returns-original-documents.191536/

It is advised to respond to queries when you are 100% sure and should not be based upon imagination. Take care

when they ask for original documents (like school records, voter's id card for late birth registration) does that mean the actual document or notarized copy of the document?

With all due respect, the response to the query was to help the concern of the member and not use imagination to play with people's serious issue. Did you base your 100% certainty that IRCC always return the original documents on the forum thread or from actual proof off the CIC website?

I would advise anyone to contact CIC to receive the best possible answers and solutions on issues not properly covered.

On that note, good luck to everyone!

Just a bit of progress and good news....just checking on my app and I now see my wife has passed the medical exams....no update on ECAS though

just waiting on the sched A and PCC to be attached then we've done all we can and its just the wait for CIC to make the final decision

Congrats buddy !! How long was did it take for your wife's medical results to be updated on CIC?
