Hello

I am in Canada as a visitor with my wife who is sponsoring me under the category outland application / spouse sponsorship , I am living since 6 months in Canada with my wife , 5 months ago we started the sponsorship application.
My lawyer while filling in the application mentioned that my residence address is Egypt is there any issue with that ?

Thanks in advance

no if your primary residence is in Egypt

though since you are already in Canada, you may look into applying inland instead and submitting an open work permit application with the sponsorship

I'd filed as de facto, you're reside in Canada but send it to Outland IRCCs PO. As it states in Guide 5525 - Basic Guide: Sponsor Your Spouse Step 7: Submitting your application in the note box with reciever address: "Your spouse or common-law partner may be living in Canada with you, but if he or she doesn’t plan to stay in Canada while the application is being processed, choose this option." (Under this option is another address that receives Outland applications only).
So you can tell that your lawyer and will see what he has to say.

My wife applied outland and we put my address as her residence even though she is here as a visitor

Really I am confused , which residence address should I mention while filling in out land application while being in Canada as a visitor

Canadian address or Egyptian address ?

Where will you be spending most of your time?

The advice I got on here was "if you will be spending majority of time in Canada, use Canadian address"
