I am showing part of my POF with funds From UK bank. However, I called bank up just now and was told they no longer issue bank letters. what should I do? Can I just print out online statements?

I just got my ITA and am sort of panicking because I didn't expect this. Hope you guys can help.

Yes that is fine. Just attach LOEmentioning that the bank is not providing the letters and hence you are providing 6 months bank statement - just have it stamped and signed by the bank. Relax - you will be fine. Good luck!

Thank you for your prompt reply. I am not in Uk Anymore so I cannot get bank to stamp and sign. Is there other way to get around this?

Also 6 months statement - do you mean the version I can print out from online? Or must it be issued by bank?

And if there's more than 30 pages of it do I have to upload everything?

So you are holding the UK account currently even though not in the country. Mention this in the LOE and also put the date when the account was opened. If you are outside, then online statement should be ok - explain why it does not have the sign. Most banks nowadays just print the same statement we see online and stamp it.

I would also advice you to attach any POF from your current country of residence if you can especially since you are not in the UK now.

As for the pages, if you get monthly statements online, I would put the first page which shows the balance on closing period from each statement (for last 6 months or more) and then append the details behind them. That way the VO can easily see you maintained the requisite funds for the 6 month period and go into details if needed.

Hope this helps.
