Something went wrong after aor i think

hi,

I got AOR on the 5th april and linked my account. Next day i saw that correspondence had been sent. I waiting for a few weeks and got nothing in the mail or by email. My sponsor never got an email detailing a UCI number for herself either. I guessed that they were after my police checks and schedule a so i uploaded them by case specific enquiry. After still seeing no correspondence arrive, i eventually got through to the helpdesk. They told me that the correspondence was sent before i linked my account. I thought this strange as i received the email at 5 am and linked my account when in work at 9 am. They told me that they were requesting my schedule a and police check. i informed them that i uploaded them a few weeks ago, but they couldn't see it. So i uploaded it again which was a week ago today. Now i found they thread on here detailing how to link my OWP, and i tried this earlier but it says nothing can be found. Im getting quite worried now that something is a miss, as a friend of mine, sent off his package about 3 weeks ago and linked his app and today he can see that his work permit has been approved.
Is there anything else i can do?

I'm going to try call CIC again tomorrow just to make sure the my application is all ok.

Check if you have any updates in your ECAS.

ECas says my application has been recieved but it's been that way for 5 weeks now. It's actually in here that it tells me they sent me correspondence on the 6th April.

Are you the principal applicant? If yes that thats all ECAS will show till your appliation is in process. You need to check the sponsor's ECAS that will have the updates.

That's one of the issues, my sponsor to this day still hasn't received anything whatsoever from CIC, so she has no UCI or application number, so she can't link the application to ECAS

A Sponsor needs to be a Citizen or a PR to sponsor someone right? So how can a Sponsor not have a UCI? What i mean is use the Sponsor's UCI to check ECAS.

Hi, it is easy , select application number use your Application number and instead of your details use your sponsors date of birth and name and place of birth. you can try it.

That's what I was saying, my sponsor has had no correspondence from CIC, so she hasn't to date been assigned a UCI.

Anyway had a few hours to spare, so 1 1/2 hrs of constant dialling and a 25 min wait, I got through to the helpdesk. Seemingly my OWP was approved and mailed a couple of days ago. They have confirmed that there were one or two technical hiccups on their side,but my application is good and still in process. However they still have not received my schedule a or police cert despite me uploading it twice by now.
So i'll check back in a week to see if they got it,i guess I should have mailed it too.Hopefully the OWP will arrive in a day or two. Then i'll just wait it out and see what happens over the rest of the year.

thats great as long as u have an update on your application. How long ago did u send your schedule A? From what I've read here it takes around 10days after you send it to them to get attached to your file.

It's about a month since I uploaded it the first time, and it's nearly two weeks ago since I uploaded it the second time. I'll try call again midweek to see if they received it.
